I often remove a person from a photograph, but I have never added a person before. Every year I always help my good friend Jonathan create a one-of-a-kind Christmas card. The past cards have always been comical. This year Jonathan wanted to pay homage to his late grandmother. He has this picture of her with his hometown of Cleveland in the background, and he wanted to add himself to the photograph. You can see Jonathan's past cards here.
The photograph of grandma in Ohio.
The photograph I took of Jonathan. I decided to take the photograph outside and have the sun create a similar shadow as the old photograph. I could have found a cleaner background, but I did not want to go too far. So we did it in my front yard instead.
Here is the final edit. I added noise and blur to match the old photograph.
Amanda and David got hitched at the beautiful Beaver Ranch in Conifer, Colorado. It rained for a little bit, but it stopped just before the ceremony. The fall colors were just amazing. Congratulations Amanda and David! Thank you Heather Obendorf for helping me capture this wedding.

It was a small wedding, but Mary and Keith's wedding was a blast. The wedding took place at the historic Cheesman Park Pavilion. After the wedding they went to Peaks Lounge for some cocktails, and ended the evening with dinner at Elway's. Congratulations Mary and Keith!
Meet the beautiful Veruchi family. The session ended early due to the rain, but we still got some amazing shots.
